Zeus closup back of anti-snoring device

Clinical Research

Zeus is grounded in years of clinical research into sleep, snoring, and upper airway stimulation. Developed in collaboration with leading sleep researchers and NHS institutions, the technology is backed by ongoing scientific study focused on improving sleep quality and advancing non invasive sleep health solutions.

The future of snoring

Zeus has completed three independent clinical studies, including the Dorset NHS Trial, the TESLA Trial, and the TESLA Home Trial, which together demonstrated significant improvements in sleep quality, daytime function and daytime sleepiness.

Building on these results, Zeus has been selected by the National Institute for Health and Care Research to run one of the UK’s largest multi centre clinical trials in obstructive sleep apnoea.

This ongoing study is being led by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London and will evaluate Zeus in 184 patients over 36 months in real world NHS settings.

The data from this NIHR funded trial, together with the Dorset, TESLA and TESLA Home studies, will support the regulatory submission for the ZeusOSA medical device and potential future NHS adoption.

Zeus anti-snoring device clinical trial

Trusted by UK Sleep Experts

"The Zeus sleep device is simple to use and surprisingly comfortable, I barely noticed it even on the first night. As an NHS Clinical Scientist with a PhD in Respiratory Physiology, I’ve been following the development of upper airway stimulation for 15 years. It is exciting to see such a well-designed and effective solution for snoring that is grounded in strong scientific research."

Dr.Harry Griffin Lead Respiratory and Sleep Physiologist, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

"Zeus is lightweight, portable and comfortable to wear. It uses TENs technology to strengthen the muscles, showing reducing snoring and providing the user an alternative to often painful and invasive treatments."

David Walker ENT Consultant, Nuffield Health

"Unlike implanted hypoglossal nerve stimulators, the Zeus device doesn’t rely on strong muscle contractions that may disturb sleep. This makes Zeus a comfortable, non-invasive alternative to surgery, while still addressing the root cause of snoring."
