How to Apply Your Hydrogel Pad

Before you begin

1. Remove Zeus from the charging dock.

2. Ensure the device is clean and completely dry.
   If any hydrogel residue is present, gently clean the underside of the device with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to dry fully.

Storage tip:
After removing a hydrogel pad, reseal the packet immediately. This helps keep unused pads fresh and prevents them from drying out.

Step 1: Identify the correct sides of the hydrogel pad

Each hydrogel pad has two sides:

Side 1 – Device side
This side is designed to attach securely to the electrodes on the underside of the Zeus device.

Side 2 – Skin side
This side has stronger adhesion and is skin safe.

Important: Do not attach the skin side (Side 2) to the Zeus device, as this may damage the electrodes.

Step 2: Attach the pad to Zeus

1. Peel off the backing labelled “1”.

2. Press the exposed side firmly onto the underside of the Zeus device.

3. Apply firm pressure, especially over the hydrogel circles, to ensure full contact.

Step 3: Prepare your skin

1. Make sure the skin under your chin is clean, dry, and free from lotions or creams.

2. If you shave the area, we recommend shaving in the morning so the skin has time to settle before applying Zeus in the evening.

Step 4: Apply Zeus to your skin

1. When ready to apply, peel off the backing labelled “2” to expose the skin safe adhesive.

2. Position Zeus under your chin.

3. Look straight ahead into a mirror while applying the device. Avoid craning your neck, as this helps ensure maximum adhesion.

4. Press the device firmly onto the skin, focusing pressure on the hydrogel circles.
